Thrip Resistent Collection
The value of Indumentum
Not all rhododendrons are created equal — and our special Thrip-Resistant Collection proves it. With soft, fuzzy leaf undersides that thrips avoid, these hardy beauties keep your garden thriving without the hassle. Less pest damage. Less fuss. More blooms.
Behind the Scenes
Big News from RhodoDirect!
This year we’ve taken one of our biggest steps yet — into the world of wholesale. Earlier in the year, we took on the wholesale side of Tawa Glen Nursery from the legendary Ian Swann. Ian has been a wonderful mentor, and we’re honoured to continue his legacy while adding our own fresh energy.
Taking this on meant some serious upgrades — new glasshouses, a big new lathe house, 112 posts rammed, 10 km of slats, and plenty of mud, laughs, and sore muscles along the way!
Wholesale is new for us, but retail remains at the heart of RhodoDirect. Every upgrade means more plants, more choice, and better gardens — whether you’re after one rhodo or planting hundreds.
