Cathedral Cliffs Garden and B&B - Cathedral Road, Gore Bay
Cathedral Cliffs was begun 20 years ago by Murray and Betty Elliot. Murray had a passion for plants especially Rhodos and many in the garden are from his own breeding programme. We feel lucky that in 2009 the Elliotts entrusted their dream to us. Visitors can explore different areas including the coastal frost free areas of proteas and leucadendrons then check out the magnolias and rhodos. There are plant treasures hidden everywhere and visitors delight in the challenge of finding as many as possible.

Visitors can purchase a range of kitchen and bathroom accessories, aprons and cushions that are Lynne's other passion.   Refreshments are available on request by booking.

Woodchester Garden - Leader Road Waiau
Woodchester is a well established country garden under native canopy in the hill country of Waiau. Covering about 5 acres, it includes a huge collection of Rhododendrons, ornamental trees and conifers as well as a growing selection of roses. Also a chance to see new varieties of rhodos and azaleas bred by June's daughter Susan, not yet available to the public. Don't miss "June Gardiner", a wonderfully scented specimen! Begun over 40 years ago by June Gardiner, this awesome (if not somewhat daunting) legacy has been passed to her grandaughter Rebekah who is adding her own touch to the garden with the help of her two young boys. With fences having been pushed out as far as "the men" will allow, focus is firmly on enhancing and maintaining what has been June's passion for many years.   The garden at Woodchester is a family place so people are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch, and there will be plenty for the children to do while adults wander in the garden.   Woodchester is on the left at the top of the hill 15km along the Leader Road from Waiau or 14km from the Leader Bridge turnoff if coming from the Parnassus end, then 6km along the farm driveway.   Open by appointment.  No dogs please as Woodchester is a working farm.

Loch Leven Hedging Nursery and Garden - Rotherham
Our garden and nursery are open by appointment. The nursery specialises in hedging, topiaries, shrubs, natives, perennials and roses. Plants can be couriered throughout NZ.  The garden has been developed and changed over the past 20 years. Hedging has been used extensively throughout the garden to give definition and structure.  Areas close to the house are more formal with hedging, roses and large pots with topiaries.  Expansive lawns are planted with deciduous trees which are starting to form shade in summer and beautiful colours in Autumn. Gardens are interplanted with a mix of rhododens, shrubs and perennials.  Three years ago a large swimming pool was added and incorporated by the tennis court.
