We courier our rhododendrons all around NZ using Fastway Courier, please check out our rates below
A box load of plants consists of the following (10 x pb5) OR (4 x 250mm) OR (1 x TUB GRADE) or a combination of the above. Depending on the size plants we might be able to add in 2 x pb5 plants with a tub grade as an example. We courier rhododendrons semi barerooted. We leave 1/2 of the soil and the pot here and bag up your rhodo into a lighter bag - because of this transportation method, that saves you our customer money, your rhododendrons need to be planted immediately upon arrival.
FREE PACKAGING - we do not charge you for packaging your plants
We use recycled cardboard boxes to freight our rhododendrons in, this saves you money and helps us all do our bit for the environment. They might not look as lovely as other organisations cardboard boxes but we figure that you'd probably rather be paying for plants than cardboard!!
COURIER RATES SOUTH ISLAND
FREE delivery to Amberley, Waikari Village, Waipara, Woodend, Leithfield, Belfast or anywhere along a route that we regularly travel, feel free to email us and ask if you fall into this category
- $4 per box full. Christchurch City from Belfast to Lyttelton & south as far as Rolleston (this price is dependant upon us delivering the boxes to our drop off location in Merivale for collection by fastway, therefore it is by arrangement)
- $5.50 Ashburton, Rangiora, Dunsandel, Akaroa, Lincoln, Darfield
- $7 for Kaikoura, Methven, Geraldine, Timaru
- $12 for remainder of South Island
COURIER RATES NORTH ISLAND
- $12 - this rate is for a box the size of a bottle crate, it can fit one yak variety or other very small growing 250mm grade plant or between 4-6 x pb5 grade. Please email first to check that your order will fit into a box of this size. There is a weight restriction of 5kg for this box.
- $18 anywhere in North Island
ADDITIONAL FEES
** Rural delivery $5
** Fast courier pick up from our property next day service $6. We deliver to the courier in either Amberley or Christchurch about once a week, if you want your plants faster than this we recommend that you add $6 to your order for your box to be collected from our property.
If you have a large order (over 30 plants) please contact us for a special delivery quote, we may choose to deliver them ourselves if you live in Canterbury or we may use a freight firm for other parts of the country.
