Species from burma
Habit is open, upright and leggy. Medium sized lance shaped leaves are scaly on both sides, lending a lovely golden brown effect. Sweetly scented flower are tubular shaped and yellow to greenish. Trusses of 4-6.

Hotei x Lem's Cameo
Flower openly funnel-shaped, frilly, light yellow edges darkening to brilliant yellow towards center, with star-shaped cardinal red blotch in throat and red spotting. Ball-shaped to flat trusses hold 12 flowers.

An outstanding new hardy yellow. It bears trusses of 15 frilly greenish yellow flowers. One of the best hardy yellows. Excellent foilage. Dense mounding habit.

Dreamy is right. Abundant, soft yellow flowers adorn a compact plant with excellent foliage. The midseason blooms have wavy edges and are sometimes double. Foliage is rounded and dark green, with a bit of brownish/orange indumentum on the underside. Low, mounded habit.

Sino Grande
The leaves on R. 'Sino Grande'can get to 18"x12" and have beautiful veining on top of the leaves. The indumentum is a silver gray. The flowers are pale yellow on a large upright truss. This species is one of the giants of the rhododendron world.
